CLDS is a non profit organization providing health education and disease prevention services to the Hispanic/Latino and other ethnic minorities in Maricopa County. CLDS received a grant from the Arizona Department of Health Services to provide Syphilis Elimination Outreach and Tobacco Cessation Intervention. The grant was made in the form of an expense reimbursement contract. The Authority’s loan was utilized to provide bridge funding to facilitate operations while awaiting reimbursement from the Department of Health Services.
